I just go my Costco membership last month, and I will be canceling it at the end of the cycle. Reason: They have too few selections. BIg package, i ended up throw away more than I eat. I got lost every time in the warehouse. I always walk in for a box of croissant then walk out with $100 more stuff. They don't have damn grocery bags! : Erik W
First world problem at its finest, waiting ten minutes for the checkout. That's pretty standard in a supermarket where I am from. : Ambziie
They should perform the same quality evaluation on their bacon...though I am sure it would pass the tensile strength test with flying colors. : Ryan Hadbavny

Every time someone says "Costco" while watching this take a shot : Taylor Torres
I only shopped once at Costco and spent a whopping $100 for 3 items. Never again. Too expensive for wholesale. I can buy a cartful of items for $20 with discounts, sales and coupons from other stores. I will not spend more than a $100 in a store made for grocery. I can buy $0.64 cent spaghetti noodles when they are on sale at the grocery store. I can buy a 6-pack paper towels for $4 when they are on sale at the grocery store. I can buy a 20-pack Scott tissue for $10 when this is on sale. I can buy $1 Ragu spaghetti sauce without 50 cent off coupon when this is on sale. I can buy $0.99 Duncan Hines cake mix when they are on sale at the grocery store. And none of them will ever go bad and be thrown away because they are not bought in bulk. I can buy dryer sheets for $1. $100 in regular grocery stores sale items can last us for 4 weeks and there are about 40-90 different items in that $100. I cannot imagine people spending $300, $550, $800 in one visit at Costco and they only have one cart of items. They are crazy wasting their money. : wz

I have my interview tonight. Wish me luck!!! : Chandler Lewis
In Atlanta we have something like 7 Costcos + a dedicated Costco business store prototype. They all pretty much stay packed every day they're open. But I don't think it's necessarily the stuff they sell - though it is noticeably higher quality than Sam's or BJs. It's their customer service. I can go to Sam's club into the electronics department - chances are there is no one there to help me if I need it, and if there is, they rarely have any idea about the products being sold. Then if I buy something, I have to go through the checkout line and then go to the customer service counter and wait again for them to get that item out of their cage area. At Costco... I check out and they bring the item to me as they're finishing checking me out - and they know about the items they sell. Costco also has a much more generous return policy as well.I hope they keep up the good work. : Greg Henry
The host has kind of a douchey attitude when it comes to interviewing... especially to the wine buyer. He comes off as having an holier than thou complex, "I'm not going to invite my friends over for a dinner party and serve them Kirkland wine." What a dick. Did he not just say, along with tons of other analysts and people smarter and certainly more sophisticated than him, that Costco has improved America's taste in fine wine? One store changing a country's perception toward international wine... that's amazing! And I do want to try Kirkland wine. If you ride on Kirkland tires, why not the wine? : imhellag
lol, that one customer bitching about lines talking 5 to 10 minutes... he's obviously never been to Walmart (so doesn't know how good 5-10 minutes is) :P : Tim Verry
I have tried to get my 200.00 dollar cash card and it wont let me get it,how does this work : TheTechGamer
How is wine tasting a profession? It's fucking old grape juice. "What notes are you getting?" How about old ass rotted grapes with an infusion of sock sweat and a hint of SHUT THE FUCK UP!! UGH! K i'm done xD : stuckIN801
One of my neighbors has a membership for Cosco. Also my aunt and uncle too : Jeffrey Michael Price
Wine snobs are so fucking annoying. Makes me cringe to see their little swill, sniff, and slurp routine. And their supposed expertise is in fact complete bullshit: http://io9.com/wine-tasting-is-bullshit-heres-why-496098276That very pretentious woman, Alvarez-Peters, makes it even worse. 27:55, ugh. : dpcnull
Why does one swirl wine around in a glass before smelling and tasting it? I think the answer is to increase the surface area where it evaporates so more aroma hits the olfactory nerves. Am I right? I buy wine at Costco and my perception of the Kirkland brand wine says "cheap" in my head, but my instincts are telling me that it might not be low quality. : dannydaw59

The best part of Costco to a shopper are 2 things: FREE SAMPLES! and the price of hot dogs at their café hasn't increased in, like, forever. : Boogster Su
It is NOT always cheaper, watch out!!! If and when it is, the environment, the animals and people suffer after. Over consumption is killing our planet and us. What people chose to call "meat" are helpless, vulnerable, innocent, sentient beings. They are NOT people's food. The notorious "dead flesh" industries will not tell you what most don't want to hear or what is bad for us. Please WATCH GARY YOUROFSKY on YouTube! You'll be thinned if you did if are smart enough to listed and hear! : Rosa B.

One day, my eyes opened. I saw the rude checkout girl, the rude packer, the rude people around me, and I realized I was paying an awful lot of money for same old products in a place that had become a living hell. It dawned on me that the worst behavior I have ever witnessed occurred on 3 separate occasions at Costco. When I wrote to complain about the rude checkout person, Costco had no customer service to speak of. So much for $500avg x 12 months x 18 years. Kudos to the people below who mention their bad experiences. Employee's high wages don't make the place nice. : smallestdachshund
Costco practices political censorship. Vote with your dollars. : Mike McElwee
